How to Change Your Mind
If you've been feeling stuck lately, I'm here to offer some relief.
Many of us are going through it. Many of us have been getting turned down, and many of us have lost things that were special to us. Throughout all of it, I want to encourage you to keep a positive mindset anyway. I want to encourage you to stay true to your vision, and I want you to focus on moving forward no matter what.
As long as you're moving forward, nothing can stop you.
Life doesn't always happen the way we envision it should, but let me tell you something—you're in good hands, anyway. Life happens on God's timing, and life happens in ways we could never predict by ourselves. Pain is an inevitable part of life, and even though loss sucks, there's a silver lining. At the end of the day, even the most imperfect paths lead to beautiful places. More often than not, the most difficult hikes lead to the most incredible views.
The path isn't always beautiful, but as long as you persevere, your destination will grow closer. As long as you can find the endurance to continue moving forward, you'll be closer to success. Don't get me wrong—the struggle never ends. Life never stops throwing curveballs at you, but let me tell you something—the struggle won't change, but your perspective will. In my own life, I've learned that my trials were there to build me rather than to break me down. Everything I went through had the potential to make me better, so if you've felt beaten down and exhausted lately, I want you to remember that every pain you go through is a lesson. Every loss you experience has the potential to build your faith. Strength is forged in fire, so next time life hurls a storm at you, I want you to remember to use it. I want you to change your mindset and allow that storm to mold you into something far stronger.
Stop waiting for opportunities, and stop depending on others to hand you success on a silver platter. All you need to do is change your mind, because let me tell you something—your success is dependent on how you see the world. Your joy is dependent on your perspective, and your peace requires a positive mindset. If you can keep a forward focus, anything is possible. No matter how slow you're moving, I want you to remember that moving forward at all is enough. I want you to remember that day after day, you have the potential to change your world for the better, no matter how difficult the odds seem.
It all starts with you.
