You only get one chance at life.
When you wake up in the morning, you have a choice. You'll make that choice every day of your life—the choice between singing your song of greatness or letting the world shut you down. I see people die every day with regrets, so my question to anyone reading this right now is, are you satisfied with your life? Do you have unresolved regrets? Are there things you want to do before you die? If so, are you actively pursuing those things?
If you have huge expectations but refuse to put the work in, you'll never be able to meet the demands of your standards, resulting in a life of unfulfillment.
I promise you, whoever you are, that you only get one shot at life. One day, there will be no tomorrow. With that said, you have to realize that you've got choices every day. You can choose to rise up or you can choose to run away. It's a sad fact of existence, but it's completely possible to be technically living without ever feeling truly alive.
Don't look up at the sky and feel fear. When you look at the great unknown, I want your heart to swell with potential and gratitude. I want you to be thankful for each new day of opportunity, and I want you to rise up instead of running away. Stop watching your life from the sidelines! Life isn't a game, so stop playing with it.
Tomorrow morning, when you wake up, I challenge you to face everything and rise above your opposition, no matter how difficult that may be. I want you to stop running from your problems, because you and I both know you deserve better than a life spent dwelling on regret. In life, we all have the power to control our actions. That means that indirectly, we also have control over our consequences. Don't choose to be unfulfilled when you could be truly great, and remember that each day is a new opportunity. Anything is possible, and human potential is limitless. The unknown might be huge and intimidating, but you've got to start using the unknown to your advantage.
You miss a hundred percent of the shots you don't take.
I promise you, whoever is reading this, nothing will happen for you unless you cause it for yourself. No one is going to live your life for you, and whether you're rich or poor, living a life of satisfaction is going to require effort. What are you waiting for? Rise up tomorrow morning and conquer your day.
It all starts with you.
