You've got to create your own energy.
How many times have you put good decisions off until tomorrow? You owe it to yourself to make choices that you'll thank yourself for in the future, because making excuses and putting off your work isn't going to cut it.
When you look back at your life, you are going to take note of all the decisions you made, and also the ones you neglected to make.
If you're reading this, I think it's fair to assume that you're not dead. Because you've still got breath in your lungs and life left to live, it's up to you to make decisions you won't regret. It's up to you to set your future self up for success each and every day. It's up to you to build the good habits that will benefit you months and years down the line.
No one is going to make your decisions for you. Too many people don't grasp the full meaning of that statement, so I'll rephrase it: Your life is your responsibility.
Your healing is your responsibility. Your success is up to you. Some of us might think we have tomorrow, or next week, or next year, and we end up missing out on a huge amount of growth as a result. Every day, I see people living the wrong lives. I see people missing out on satisfaction because they've neglected to make the tough decisions that needed to be made.
If you're human, you've got a dream to pursue. It's different for everyone, because God made us all for individual purposes, but everyone has one. Whatever's holding you back from working at your dream, forget about it. Shove aside whatever roadblocks are in your way, because the destination is worth those struggles a thousand times over.
Fed up with being stagnant? If you feel like your life isn't going anywhere, I've got some good news: You've got the ability to change for the better, no matter what stage of life you're in. A fundamental human problem is our lack of foresight. Often, it's difficult to understand how waking up an hour early tomorrow morning or going to the gym five days this week will impact our futures. It's hard to predict how large the return on investment will be for fostering good habits, which is why there's such a huge element of faith here.
You've got to have faith in God to put you where you need to be, and you've got to have enough faith in your vision to pursue it even when you're not sure exactly what it looks like. You've got to make hard choices now, and you've got to do the dirty work today. Are you ready to build a beautiful future for yourself?
It all starts with you.
