Just because the path is lonely doesn't mean that the path is wrong.
If you've been on the self-growth journey for some time now, you've probably noticed something. Your path is lonely. Just because you feel alone and unsupported doesn't mean your vision isn't worth pursuing. Some years ago, I made up in my mind that I would never stop until I reached my finish line. Although my finish line has changed throughout the years, achieving several of my goals has shown me that I can do anything. Making a plan and following through has benefited me more than I have expressed before now, and that's why I want to share my message with everyone reading this today.
You have to make your own options.
You have to make it happen by yourself, and you have to figure your own life out if you want to achieve your goals. Stay on the path that leads you to the best version of yourself, even when that happens to be difficult. Even though loneliness can lead to pain, it can also lead to joy and fulfillment. The choice is up to you—no one can make up your mind for you.
There's no other option.
You have to become the best you. You have to stop accepting less than your work, and you have to stop letting people use you as an option. Staying in your comfort zone will never help you, and you cannot hope to become stronger without facing your challenges head on. You've got to realize that the only option is to apply yourself. Once you can do commit to that, nothing can stop you from achieving your goals. Make it up in your mind to do your best, because—I'll say it again—there's no other option.
Often, the hardest things to do are also the most worthy causes. It's not easy to prioritize your peace, but once you make that your main priority, you will create peace for yourself. It's that simple! You might be asking, "If it's so simple, why isn't everyone happy and fulfilled?" I said it was simple, but that doesn't mean it's easy.
Change is hard, but I promise you that it's worth it. Letting go of people is difficult, but it's sometimes necessary. Not everyone deserves you, so stop letting them use you! Losing people sucks, but failing to accomplish your goals in the long term is even worse. It's time to start choosing your own greater good.
It all starts with you.
