I'm tired.
I'm tired of seeing people lose their lives, whether it's to addiction or suicide. I'm tired of seeing people struggle every single day. I'm tired of watching people smile on the outside while they fight secret battles within themselves.
The reason I've dedicated my life to helping people is because I am tired of seeing people feel hopeless. I know how it feels to have someone close commit suicide. I have met people who didn't believe they could survive their struggle.
When you feel as though your struggle is unbearable, remember that God made you for a purpose. Remember that you have unique and infinite worth, and remember that you are the only person like you on the planet.
It hurts me to see so much hate in the world. It hurts seeing people tear others down. In life, it's easy to become addicted to something. Even when that thing strips you of confidence and passion, addiction still feels needed. Maybe a doctor prescribed it to you—it doesn't matter.
God is there for you, and He will give you the strength to move forward.
At your weakest, you still have the strength to be humble. You still have the strength to fall on your knees and pray for deliverance. When it feels like you can barely step a foot forward, you still have your will. No matter how horrible your struggle might seem, God and your fulfilled vision are waiting for you on the other side.
Don't let people push you away from your worth. That person judging you is no better than you. That person telling you that you won't succeed is not worth more than you're worth. Nobody's perfect, so hold your head high and carry on!
It doesn't take much to love somebody. Some of us are blessed in ways others aren't, and for those of you who are, use your power for good! Don't trod on the souls of others. Don't bring people down. If you have more of something than someone else, exercise your power to give.
Not everyone can buy their kids presents on Christmas. Those kids wearing hand-me-down clothes go back to school the next day and they get bullied for something completely out of their control. People come to me every day because they're so afraid of being imperfect. They're afraid that they don't measure up to whatever standard society has set. They act as though they've lost before the game ever started.
Let me tell you something: The game isn't lost until it's over. As long as you're breathing, you can keep fighting. Use your unique blessings to help others, and spread hope and love. Together, we can make the world a better place!
It all starts with you.
