Stop Waiting On Others
I want to ask you guys a pretty serious but simple question today. If this was your last year, and it is not going to be by the way, but if this was your last year what would you do differently? What would you create? Who would you show more love or appreciation for? What would you make a point to do? Now I do not want to freak you guys out but no one expected COVID to hit in twenty twenty, and at least fifty million people did not see twenty twenty-one because of it. Now you have heard me say this before, I am sure, but so many people regret not getting the most out of their lives when they get towards the end of their lives. Well here is the thing you guys, and I really want you to hear me on this point. You have no idea when the end of your life is going to be. So why are you putting so much off until next time when you do not really know if there will ever be a next time.
Procrastination is not keeping you from who you want to be as soon as you want to be it. Procrastination might very well be keeping you away from what you want to be forever. There will not always be a next time. There is no way for you to put more time on the clock. The clock will keep on ticking and counting down and there is nothing you can do to stop it. If you want to follow a goal and be the best version of yourself that you possibly can be then you have to start now. Stop waiting on other people to push you. Stop waiting for the perfect moment when everything will magically feel right. Odds are that moment is not coming anytime soon, and you very well might not have time to wait for it.
If you want to become who you want to become then become it and stop waiting for some external force to push you forward. A lot of these goals that you have and plans that you have require a leap of faith because it will never be the perfect moment and you will always wonder if you are making the right choice. So stop overthinking and just make the choice. Take the leap. If you want to talk to someone you have known for a long time then go talk to them. If you want to stop getting out of bed late then buy an alarm clock and start practicing today. Do not put it off because the dark reality is that you may never get to it before it is too late. Start pushing yourself now instead of waiting for a sign from something outside of yourself. Step outside of your comfort zone and take a leap of faith.
