What I Mean When I Say "Color Blind"
I care more about looking at character than at color. My experience has shown me that evil, hate, love, and everything else can come from anyone. You need to appreciate who you are and who God created you to be. You shouldn't not love your neighbor just because they are different than you.
I think that's whats wrong with the world right now. There is so much hate going around and people are not loving their brother and sister. we are all going to leave this world the same one day, but we need to spread the love. I know what it feels like to judged by how I look, but that doesn't mean I would judge somebody else.
For us to sit here and put people in categories is totally wrong. Stop putting labels on people. Labels should be questioning if their heart is good and if they are a good person rather than their appearance.
Right now, people think it is cool to be divided. But the person you are hating, you may need one day. You never know what the future is going to hold.
Just because I love who I am, doesn't mean that I think I'm better than you. When I say that I am color blind, I mean that I look at someone's character before I see their color. That does not mean that I don't appreciate color.
You nee to judge someone by the experience with a person. Stop judging somebody before you get to know them. You never know who somebody is until you give them a chance. You need to make judgements for yourself.
God doesn't love you for your skin color. He loves you for you. I'm not going to judge somebody without knowing their heart.
In a perfect world, love will conquer all. Unfortunately, we live in a world filled with evil. But, I hope that somebody will hear this message and make a change.
People judge me all the time because I don't look like a motivational speaker. I prove these people wrong by being the bigger person. I continue to spread love, as I try to everyday. I break the stereotypes people give me. You don't want to fall into their categories. Change their mindset forever.
We are afraid to get outside our comfort zone and love people we usually wouldn't. I think that once you start having compassion for people, you understand why people do things they do. Hate is fueled by hurt. We need more loving and healing to stop the hate.
Give love to the people around you. No matter who they are.
It all starts with you.
