Why You Can't Give Up
I don't know who you are, so I can't say exactly what your struggle is. I don't know what you're going through, and I don't know where you're at in your life, but let me tell you something—as long as you refuse to surrender to the pain, you will find a way through. As long as you can refuse to surrender to that struggle, that hate, and that judgement, you will eventually move far beyond it.
There's no strength without struggle.
Stop surrendering to your doubts, your fears, and your failures. Stop surrendering to the negativity, the judgement, and the criticism. Surrender to God instead, and stay loyal to your vision. Surrender to the reason you're here, and surrender to the plan set out for you. We were all put on this earth for a unique purpose, and through faith, even the most daunting purpose can be realized. Stop letting seeds of negativity grow. Your life was given to you by God, and your unique gifts are meant to fulfill a unique purpose. Instead of erasing the story God gave us, it's time to start doing what we know we need to do.
There are no gorgeous views without hard climbs, and there is no great success without great pain. Life continues to get hard, and sometimes, it seems like our troubles will never leave us. That statement isn't true, but it might as well be—although your current storm will pass, there are more looming in the distance. The passage of time won't do anything to prevent those storms from raging on, so let me ask you something—are you ready to change your perspective? Are you ready to let those storms build your strength, or are you going to compromise your faith the moment something difficult happens? Are you going to keep pushing forward until you emerge stronger, or are you going to give up and stop fighting?
Your answer to those questions will determine the kind of life you lead. Pain is a part of life, but those who learn to respond to pain with gratitude will go farther than the rest. In life, we'll always have problems, but rest assured—you have the ability to change how you react to those problems. Are you ready to take everything that was meant to break you and use it to build yourself up? At the end of the day, there's no other choice. We can't keep people from leaving, and we can't prevent life from causing us pain. We don't control our storms at all, but let me ask you something—would you rather be in a tent during a hurricane, or can you take the time to build a house with a solid foundation?
It all starts with you.
