You Are In Danger
I want to talk to you guys about perspective today. Life is all about perspective. Change in your life and true transformation is all about perspective. You see, a lot of times in life we do not value the things that we need to be valuing, and a lot of the things that we think matter do not matter. I have a question for you guys. If I gave you whatever it is that you think you most want in your life, whether that be money or power or whatever, how many of you guys would love that? How many of you guys would love it if I gave you what you wanted for free? You would want that, right?
Okay now let me change it up. What if I told you that you could have all of that, but you would lose the relationships you have with the people you love and care about the most? You would lose the relationships that you have with your significant other and your kids and your family. Would you still take that deal? You would probably say like hell no, right? Well I just want you to think about that. You would not think it was worth it, but how much more worth is the things we overlook every single day than the things that we think that we need. Think about that. I mean you have the love of those people I said I would take away in your lives right now, but you take that for granted while you sit and wish for these other things that we can agree are not as important or valuable as that love. So why do we take it for granted?
Sometimes we put way more value on the things that we know ultimately really are not that valuable to our lives. I want you guys to stop letting certain things that we know are less valuable ruin your life. If you are feeling pain and confusion in your life then I just want you to ask yourself this question. Where is the source of that pain coming from? Where is the source of your stress coming from? Where is the source of your hurt coming from? Is it when you are happy? When you are filled with life and you are feeling blessed what is the source of that? Ask yourself these questions. I mean it. Really ask yourself these questions. Do not just mouth the words, but actually think about the answers and what they might be. Now that you have thought about the answers tell me this, are you pursuing those things that bring you happiness and joy, or are you pursuing the things that have been causing you pain, the things that have been causing you stress, and the things that have been causing you hurt? Which things are you pursuing? I know which ones will bring you more fulfillment. I am sure you know too, but for some reason you find yourself pursuing what is hurting you. Stop pursuing what is hurting you and start pursuing what is valuable to you in your life.
