You Are Running Out Of Time
I do want to talk about something fairly serious today. I do not want to sound like a total downer and I do not mean to be super dark with this message but I am just going to be straight up with y’all as always. I want to be open and honest about the facts, and that is all I will be giving you guys today. Straight facts. Now I know a lot of us out there are living like there will always be another opportunity to do better, or another chance to do what we have been putting off. If you are being real and honest with yourself though, you would know that there will not always be a next time. There will not always be a next year. There will not even always be a tomorrow. Nothing in this life, and I mean NOTHING is guaranteed. Stop pretending it is so you can procrastinate and put everything off because you are scared of doing what you have set out to do.
You only have one life to live so start acting like it. So often we waste our life on things that do nothing for our life. So often we waste our life on the things that drain us. We put our time and our effort into things that keep us stuck where we do not want to be and we wonder why we are unhappy all of the time. We wonder why we never feel fulfilled. It is obvious. It is because we are not doing the things that fulfill our purpose in our lives. If you want to feel fulfilled in your life then setting goals and plans for yourself in your life is great, but that is only the first step. The second, and honestly the more important step, is to put those goals into action. I know it can be a scary thing to actually start working on your goals because then you open up the opportunity to fail at something and that means that you might start to doubt yourself and you are not willing to do that so you put things off. You tell yourself that you will get back to it when it feels right or when you really feel ready, but let me tell you something. You might never feel ready to do something you want to do to be all that you can be. If you have a goal to follow then you have to start on it even if you are not ready. You have to be willing to take a leap of faith and push yourself towards that goal even if you have to drag yourself out of your comfort zone to do it.
Like I said before, I do not want to be overly dark or in your face about this, but you are running out of time. I am serious about this. If you do not start pushing yourself to stop procrastinating and settling in your life then you will be out of time before you know it and you will never be who you wanted to be. Do not let that happen to you.
It all starts with you.
