I was running recently when a thought came into my head.
I thought back to a time my life was in a much worse place, and I remembered how much of that was my doing. After that, I realized just how many people out there ruin their lives by being scared. Success doesn't always have to do with enduring failure, or enduring pain. More often than not, success begins by simply going outside of one's comfort zone. Let me ask you something.
If this was the last month of your life, what would you put out for the world?
If you knew you'd die just four weeks from now, how would you live your life? If you knew you were in the last chapter of your life, what would you do for the people closest to you? I want you to think about how you'd structure that month, and then I want you to make that the blueprint for how you live life this month. What would you do today? What would you do this week? When the stakes are raised, it seems obvious and even easy to do the things you need to do. Far too often, we forget how high the stakes are in reality.
You only have one life to live, so it's time to take it to the next level. If you feel like you've stopped believing in yourself, it's time to start. That might seem easier than done, and I'll be honest with you—believing in yourself is hard. However, you have to understand that you're the only one who can. People won't support you until you're successful, and you won't be successful until you can support yourself—that's just the cold, hard truth. Years ago, I could have quit and given up, because that's what people were telling me to do! If I'd listened to those people's opinions, I would never be where I am today.
Before you can accomplish anything, you have to cultivate faith in yourself.
Stop putting faith on external things. Stop putting all your trust on social media. Stop believing in the struggle, the stress, and the failure—instead, believe in yourself. Believe in getting up off the ground even stronger, and believe in yourself using everything that was meant to break you as leverage. I don't know who you are, but let me tell you something—if you're human, you're worthy. You're worthy of your dreams, and you're worthy of your vision. You're worthy of success, and you're worthy of happiness. The question is, are you willing to take it for yourself?
It all starts with you.
